Graduated in piano at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome, specialized as Répétiteur and as vocal coach and with many-year of experience in artistic production, Daniela de Marco created a competition dedicated to the sacred repertoire of the solo vocal music during the days of the Great Jubilee able to produce a path of quality and a-depth analysis of this wide repertoire.
So she conceived, designed and produced the first Sacred Music International Competition in April 2001.
After the great success of that edition she has managed to develop several associations to continue in the realization of this annual competition. In very few editions, the Sacred Music Int.l Competition has revealed to be one of the most respected and monitored on the international scene.
Over the years she has designed and produced, on behalf of the associations in which has been Artistic Director, numerous festivals and concerts of sacred music in Rome and in other regions in which has presented the winners of the various editions of the competition, contributing to spread this music in places hardly attained by cultural attractions.
As artistic director of Musicale Europeahas founded the ensemble Armonia, that performed the great concert dedicated to the beatification of Pope John Paul II, broadcasted by TV 2000, in which has been performed Handel's Oratorio "The Resurrection".
